It’s been an exciting past few months for Entelo, as we welcomed in a new CEO and completed an expansion of one of our most powerful integrations. Today, we add one more reason for celebration to the list – the appointment of our new VP of Customer Success, Andre Boulais.



Robert Tsao Appointed the CEO of Entelo

Entelo today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Robert Tsao as Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors effective immediately. Tsao previously held the positions of Chief Product Officer and Vice President of Strategic Operations at Jobvite.

Welcoming New Leaders Across Product, Business Development and Marketing

Using Technology To Reduce Unconscious Bias

Diversity hiring should not be controversial. Beyond being the right thing to do, McKinsey research indicates there are strong business reasons to focus on hiring candidates from different backgrounds and building diverse teams. People from different backgrounds bring unique perspectives and contribute to enhancing team creativity and balance, which can reduce groupthink and enhance problem solving. This is Last Week in Talent, where yours truly runs down all the most interesting, important and intriguing talent and recruiting-related information from the last week in recruiting and hiring. 

In case you missed it, Entelo (yes, us!) announced our Series C round last week (ps, we're hiring), Amazon announced they are buying Whole Foods (for the estimated equivalent of 3.7 billion bottles of Kumbucha), Careerbuilder just got bought, Wordpress is closing their super nice SF (office because no one actually uses it), McDonalds is using Snapchat to recruit, Facebook is teaching machines to negotiate with humans, Slack is raising a $500M megaround and Culture Amp announced that they had raised a $20M Series C.



Entelo Raises $20 Million Series C Funding Round

We are proud to announce today that Entelo has closed its Series C financing (press release below and link to TechCrunch article here). This new funding will help move us further toward our vision of building the best technology to empower the modern recruiter. We'll be using the capital to deepen our investment in data science, machine learning, and AI and to build even better products that help to give companies a competitive advantage when it comes to finding talent. Entelo is also opening up a New York office as part of its expansion.

We couldn't be more thrilled about the future and what lies ahead for Entelo and for our industry. We will have more exciting announcements in the coming months and look forward to talking with you about our plans soon. And we're hiring

Entelo Study Shows When Employees are Likely to Leave Their Jobs

Over the last few years we’ve had the privilege of talking to thousands of recruiters about how they do their jobs. 

For the increasing number of them who are trying to source hard-to-fill roles (e.g., engineering, design, data science, highly skilled sales and marketing, etc.), a key question to answer is “When are people most likely to leave their current employer?”

After all, if you know that people were statistically much more likely to leave at a certain point, you could optimize your outreach accordingly.
