Last month, we shared many of the steps Entelo has taken to ensure user privacy and the security of all data within our network. Today, we are delighted to announce another step forward. Entelo has earned its Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type II certification. This designation was awarded based on our demonstrated ability to safeguard customer data over time and for the operating effectiveness of the controls Entelo put into place. It builds on our existing SOC 2 Type I certification.
The SOC 2 Type 2 certification is significant because it involves a very lengthy outside evaluation. Entelo began this process with Marana, Inc. serving as its third-party auditor last July, and the company completed the evaluation in January 2018. The subsequent report attests to the fact that Entelo’s systems passed tests on security, integrity, availability and confidentiality. That report is now available upon request.
SOC 2 has become table stakes for cloud companies today, and we take great pains to go above and beyond what is required. Security of Entelo’s candidate, customer, and partner data is of paramount importance. We are consistently and rigorously testing our systems to ensure we exceed national and international standards. In addition to attaining multiple certifications, Entelo has partnered with a reputable, global information assurance specialist, NCC Group, to perform objective, third-party security audits and penetration tests on an annual basis. The testing methods assure our compliance with all of the leading security standards groups. Additionally, all of our team members are routinely trained on security measures and best practices.
We want you to be just as confident with Entelo’s ability to secure information as you are with our ability to match the right candidates with the right positions. We invite you to review the Entelo Security Page and press release to learn more.
