Announcing Entelo Updates

writingIn a perfect world, what would every recruiter like to have? For many recruiters, if they were able to be notified when a talented person for a role they were looking to fill updated their resume that would be pretty cool. Well, it's the year 2013 and your resume is no longer your resume. For many people, the collection of the social sites that you're active on (e.g., LinkedIn, Github, Twitter, etc.) provide a lot of insight into who you are as a professional. And this includes insight into when you might be getting ready to leave your current position.

Entelo Updates is the first service ever that allows recruiters to locate people for reqs based on individuals who've made updates recently to social profiles. For example, let's say you are looking for Ruby on Rails engineers in New York City who are more likely to be looking for their next thing. Here's the query you can run on Entelo:

That query currently returns 7,503 results. That's a lot of people to go through. This is where Entelo Updates comes in.

Now you can look for the new "Recently Updated" filter after you search:

This will give you only people who've made a change to one of their social profiles in the last 30 days. Candidates who making changes to their LinkedIn, Twitter, Github, Dribbble, etc. profiles are significantly more likely to make an upcoming career move (our research suggests at least 7 times more likely...probably more!). Using that filter for this search produces 494 results, all people who've made at least one change to one of their profiles in the last 30 days.

Never before have recruiters had such a powerful tool at their fingertips. Current Entelo customers have been benefitting from Entelo Sonar for months now but Entelo Updates gives Entelo users the ability to run whatever searches they'd like to run and benefit from one of the main signals the Sonar algorithm uses to identify candidates on the move.

We're excited to be rolling this out to our current customers (it's been one of our most-requested features in recent customer surveys) and are looking forward to demo'ing it for interested recruiters. Request a demo today and see just how powerful Entelo Updates can be to you in your hunt for top talent.
