Recruiting Conference season is upon us! That means elite keynote addresses, torrents of business cards, and more
booth swag than you can shake a portable charger at. SourceCon Seattle kicked off this week, and all the usual suspects in the Recruiting world were in attendance, and luckily for us, tweeting their little thumbs off. Check out some of our favorite Twitter quips below!

Great reminder from Jim that never has "based on your experience, I think you're a great fit for this hot new opportunity!" Yielded encouraging results.

If the only tool in your toolbox is a hammer, you'll treat everything like a nail.  Lars rattles off a handful of Chrome extensions for all your sourcing needs. Here's a quick breakdown:

  • DataMiner -- exports web page data to .csv.
  • AboutNumber -- Rapportive clone for mobile.
  • Capture --  rich featured screenshot tool.
  • ZipProfiles -- research decision makers and hiring managers.
  • GetUID -- Finds Facebook profiles.
  • GetThemAll -- Analyze webpage using built-in filters. Download pdf files, html, images, and video.

Remember the onus is fully on you and your team to sell the candidate on the role, and beyond that, to create an atmosphere that draws inbound interest.

Searching for an SQL Developer? Take your pick of keywords!

Can't agree with this enough. Asking for access to the network of someone you don't know is presumptuous and borderline disrespectful.
