How to Get Your Org to Invest in Innovative Hiring

As a modern tech recruiter well abreast of new tools in the space as well as the general importance of team building, I don't have to convince you of the need to think outside the box and invest in new tools to make hires. The person who might need more convincing, however, could be your boss, CEO, or anyone else making the call on budget at your company. This piece from our friends at Recruiter.com explains how to build an argument in terms of what the company stands to gain in hiring top performers.

Biggest Upcoming Challenges for Recruiters

As always, Dr. John Sullivan nicks the jugular in his latest post about fearsome trials on the horizon for talent acquisition pros. Over at ERE.net, he predicts the resurgence of the War on Talent, an increase in open positions, a lack of talented recruiters as well as an inadvisable reliance on antiquated recruitment metrics. For the full list, check out the piece here.

The Pre-Interview Team Pow-Wow

At Entelo, our Recruiter Evangelist Loni leads us in pre-interview team meetings where we discuss the candidate and delineate areas for each interviewer to cover. This helps to provide great candidate experience by saving them from answering the same question multiple times, as well as allowing us to cover more ground with our questions by avoiding overlap. Check out the full post to see areas your executives, hiring managers, and team members should cover, as well as some sample questions for each.
