You’re already on your way to filling your open reqs. Sounds too good to be true, right? Training sourcers and recruiters is a continual cycle of practice, nurturing, trial-and-error, and success.

Among the tools, networks, and training guides you’ve equipped your team with, there should be a solid reading list of hiring books, blogs, and websites to help them stay updated, inspired, and innovative with their sourcing and engagement strategies.

Here’s what’s sitting on our virtual nightstand.

TalentCulture

TalentCulture offers a scope of resources for those in recruiting and HR, from tips on building company culture, managing talent, HR tech, and insights on talent pros’ own career growth. You may have also heard of their popular Wednesday #TChat live Twitter forum, where hundreds of people in the space get chatty about the latest hiring hot topics. The blog has been dubbed a living metaphor for the social workplace, and provides advice, updates, and networking opportunities for recruiters, hiring managers, and HR pros at any stage of their career.

Model View Culture

MVC is more niche than the average recruiting and hiring blog, and covers issues in tech, from hiring, managing talent, and building company culture and diversity. This post says it best, listing “We cover the hard topics in tech culture” as one of the many reasons to subscribe to their blog. Hiring tech talent fit for your company is the iceberg’s tip of challenges of growing a tech business, and the MVC offers a refreshing critique of the ethics of the industry.

The HR Capitalist

The HR Capitalist is the solo project of Kris Dunn, co-founder of and frequent writer for Fistful of Talent. His blog discusses common issues in human resources often untouched by most HR writers, like dealing with employees who aren’t interested in career advancement or making the case for employees being active on social media. Kris also features a list of his recommended reads for your own professional growth. Also, if you’re a sports fan, you’ll especially find this blog enjoyable. Click through and read on to find out why.
