Kevin's tweet highlights a practice that consistently turns talent off to your recruiting efforts. Although it can be difficult to veer from templates when you're reaching out to several dozen candidates a day, remember that a little personalization can go a long, long way.

Although this tweet was aimed more at job seekers, it does serve to re-emphasize a good point for recruiters. When trimming a torrent of inbound interest down to a manageable amount of resumes, it makes sense to remove the candidates who did not seem fired up enough about your company to tailor it specifically to the position or company.
