When it comes to their company’s diversity, Opower (NYSE: OPWR) is not an organization to shy away from the facts.

Last week, the technology firm published a comprehensive diversity and inclusion dashboard to provide insight into who exactly comprises their company, and the internal efforts they are making to create a more representative workplace. Chief among these efforts is Entelo Diversity: an advanced search filter we built to allow companies to source from groups that are underrepresented within their organization.

To quote Dawn Mitchell, Opower’s Head of Global Talent Acquisition: “We asked ourselves, how can we continue to add diverse candidates to the top of the funnel? Entelo was the perfect choice to open up the funnel and help us cast a wider net.”

Through the use of Entelo and other tools, Opower was able to increase the total amount of female employees from 40% to 47%, and minority technical employees from 1.5% to 11%.

Opower CEO Dan Yates had this to say about the dashboard:

Transparency around diversity and inclusion is becoming increasingly common. But among technology companies, Opower’s dashboard is unique. We’re comparing ourselves to our peers, regardless of whether we’re ahead or behind. We’re sharing data about leadership and management. We’re shining a bright light on inclusion.
